Sales Director – Utility Scale

Location: Sydney, NSW

We are currently partnered with a global powerhouse, renowned for its cutting-edge technologies and transformative impact on utility scale solar, energy storage and EV projects

They set a new standard within cost effectiveness, reliability and longevity through their innovative electrical balance of system (EBOS) solutions, with over 20GW of solar systems deployed worldwide.

The company is heavily investing in the ANZ market and looking for a leader to drive growth. As the Sales Director, you'll be at the forefront of business development. Reporting to the Country Manager, you'll lead strategic initiatives to expand the company's footprint in utility-scale solar and off-grid mining projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities, and mining companies.
  • Drive regional growth strategies aligned with global objectives.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of high-impact projects.
  • Position the company as a trusted advisor and preferred partner.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

What You Bring

  • Proven track-record in a Sales or Business Development or Commercial role in utility-scale solar or mining.
  • Experience with an Electrical or Energy OEM.
  • Strong network and access to key decision-makers in the sector (EPC's, Developers, Utilities, Mining).
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-million-dollar negotiations.
  • High energy, initiative, and a drive to make things happen.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
