About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in Kewdale, Perth. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity and compliance across our operations. You will manage key aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory obligations, while supporting operational managers with commercial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, consolidate, and submit monthly accounts within Group deadlines.
  • Maintain and review financial systems and processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting for the Asia Pacific region.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide variance analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal postings.
  • Provide ad hoc financial and commercial support to operational teams.

About You

  • CA/CPA (or equivalent) or studying towards it.
  • Minimum 5 years' commercial accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
  • Excellent reconciliation and investigative skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in designing accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
