About The Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented
Payroll Administrator
for an
immediate start
on a
6 month Fix-Term Contract
to support the smooth and accurate management of our payroll system. In this role, you'll help maintain employee records, process payroll, verify calculations, and ensure compliance with payroll laws, taxes, and company policies. You'll also assist with payroll-related reporting and analysis, contributing to efficient operations and employee satisfaction.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end payroll for AU and NZ, including fortnightly payroll, STP submissions, superannuation, payroll tax, and work cover. Maintain payroll system accuracy and handle employee queries.
• Ensure adherence to payroll legislation, internal policies, and regulatory requirements; support audits and governance initiatives.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, month-end and year-end reporting, and preparation of finance and People & Culture reports.
• Collaborate with People & Culture to ensure payroll processes align with company policies and best practices.
• Act as a proactive business partner, support cross-department collaboration, process improvements, and embrace flexibility in a changing environment.

Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years in a similar role with a relevant tertiary qualification; experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly regarded.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems; familiarity with IChris desirable.
• Extensive multi-state payroll experience with comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong deductive reasoning, business acumen, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements.
• Skilled in building strong internal relationships and communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing.
