KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and engage a team to achieve the Company EBITDA for the Market operation.
LEAD & DRIVE THE SAFETY CULTURE ACROSS THE SITE.
Proactively manage the performance of all team members to ensure individual performance is consistent with Company requirements. Ensure both direct and indirect labour support and adhere to the Perfection Fresh values.
Deliver on the budget ensuring costs are effectively managed (labour, supplies, site costs, transport, freight, maintenance, pallets, etc).
Support the strategically aligned grower network to meet current requirements and expand the product range and volume to achieve growth targets
Work with the Commercial team to review data and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods.
Evaluate freight costs to ensure that costs and timeframes are appropriate to business requirements.
Manage the physical condition of the Markets and Warehouse ensuring the appropriate equipment is in place and maintained to the required standard.
Manage the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of produce according to the Company requirements (including in line with Quality Standards and customer expectations).
Oversee stocktaking (daily, weekly, monthly) in order to analyse and accurately report on stock levels
Oversee the customer purchase order process ensuring that orders are processed in a timely manner, that customer issues are dealt with and that deliveries are made
In consultation with the Technical Quality team, ensure that direct and indirect workers comply with quality assurance systems and processes, ensuring training is in place to support.
Ensure that all required Ethical Sourcing and WH&S policy, procedures and legislative requirements are implemented and maintained

Demonstrated ability to lead and engage a team to achieve the Company EBITDA
Sound knowledge and experience within the fresh produce sectors in sales and supply
Demonstrated experience in the achievement of DIFOTQ
Demonstrated leadership skills to deliver and influence commercial outcomes.
PROVEN ABILITY TO SUCCESSFULL DEVELOP AND BUILD A POSITIVE ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE.
Sound knowledge of stock control, logistics protocols, procedures, WH&S, Ethical Sourcing and Quality Assurance systems and processes.
Well-developed analytical, problem solving, communication and negotiation skills
Competency with MS Office and related technology and warehousing/tracking systems
Champion ethical business practices and company policies.
