The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to join our Technical Services Division, driving growth across Defence and Federal Government sectors.
This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a background in ICT services or recruitment, who thrives on building relationships, shaping opportunities, and delivering value-led outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across Defence, Federal Government, and Industry Primes.
- Identify, shape, and secure new business opportunities, from individual contractors to outcome based deals.
- Expand Informatech's footprint through targeted partnerships and teaming arrangements.
- Navigate complex procurement processes, including panels, frameworks, and tendering models.
- Manage and grow key client accounts to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop proposals, pricing, and tender documentation for both staff augmentation and outcome-based services.
- Support candidate resourcing and bid activities where required.
- Collaborate with divisional leaders to refine go-to-market strategies and pursue new revenue streams.
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience in business development within Federal Government or Defence ICT sectors, in professional or recruitment services.
- Strong understanding of government procurement and panel-based engagement models.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships with Primes and Federal Government clients.
- Proven ability to sell solutions and outcomes.
- Proactive and confident in outreach to both new and existing clients.
- Strong commercial acumen, communication, and influencing skills.
