Figlia pizzeria seeking motivated and passionate junior pizza Chef to join our small kitchen team.

An exciting position is available for a serious candidate who is seeking to further their career.

The Conferre family spans CBD venues Tipo 00, Osteria Ilaria and Harriot as well as Figlia and Grana in Brunswick East.

Figlia is an Italian Pizzeria showcasing organic sourdough pizzas and Italian snacks. Approachable Italian focused menu and a tight beverage offering with tap beer, wine and cocktails.

The successful applicants will work closely with the head chef and will need to be able to work with sourdough pizza and run a busy service.

With leadership from our head chef this is your opportunity to further develop your skills.

Successful applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

The role will require you to have:

  • Experience with Italian food
  • The ability to understand pizza dough, streching of pizza working the pizza oven
  • Creativity and passion for the industry
  • Initiative in generating ideas and creative alternatives according to seasonality
  • Effective communication skills
  • A can-do attitude, enthusiasm & an eagerness to learn
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts
  • A proven background in a similar role
  • The right to work in Australia
