An exclusive opportunity exists for an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of a world-class private members venue in Sydney's eastern suburbs. This is a hands-on yet strategic leadership role, ideal for a highly experienced professional with a background across five-star hotels, premium dining, and large-scale events.

The Role

You'll oversee the seamless operation of multiple kitchens, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional food across a variety of outlets - including fine dining, casual dining, café, and events. The Executive Chef will play a key role in shaping the venue's culinary direction, inspiring collaboration across Food & Beverage and Events teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee diverse menus across à la carte fine dining, café, functions, and staff meals
  • Provide hands-on leadership while driving strategic outcomes
  • Build, mentor, and develop a talented, high-performing kitchen team
  • Implement best-practice systems and operational improvements
  • Collaborate with management on outlet concepts and culinary strategy
  • Ensure strong cost control, efficiency, and food safety compliance
  • Availability for evening and weekend service as required

About You
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience as an Executive Chef within premium venues and/or luxury hotels
  • Strong creative vision with the ability to deliver innovative, seasonal menus
  • Proven success leading multi-outlet or event-based operations
  • Sound financial acumen - budgets, COGS, and labour management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a calm, organised approach
  • Passion for fostering a positive team culture and upholding world-class standards
