We're seeking a
Project Manager (AI Governance)
to support the rollout of governance frameworks across AI and data initiatives in a large, complex environment. This role suits someone who can balance structure with flexibility — bringing together diverse stakeholders, managing vendors, and ensuring governance principles are practical, transparent, and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee vendor relationships and contracts: monitor performance, enforce SLAs, and resolve issues.
  • Deliver governance initiatives in an agile way: break down scope, pivot where needed, and deliver iteratively.
  • Lead and facilitate governance and risk workshops with academic, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Align executive, legal, technical, and operational teams on governance goals and outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong vendor management and contract oversight.
  • Proven experience in iterative or agile project delivery, ideally in governance or compliance programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workshops and co-design sessions.
  • Skilled in managing escalations and building stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
