We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has a love of promotions, events and radio to join our team as a Project Manager in our Audience Engagement team based in our Star 104.5 Studios in Erina.
What you will be doing and what skills you may have:
As the Project Manager for Audience Engagement for Star 104.5, you will collaborate with the Brand and Promotions, Sales, Digital and Programming teams to create, design, execute and manage high quality promotions and activations for our listeners and clients, that are engaging and true to our brands. Your events and activations should be an outstanding representation of our brand and a positive experience for our audience.
More specifically you will:
- Create, implement and manage on brand events.
- Coach & manage street promotional teams to deliver engaging, on-brand activations & events.
- Engage with our Sales teams to develop targeted client activations.
- Keep an eye on emerging trends within the events industry, and upcoming events that our brands can partner & engage with.
- Manage & implement station promotions including studio communications, content briefs, prize fulfilment, terms and conditions and more.
- Ensure all timelines are met, with competitions and events resourced effectively.
- Ensuring we are legally compliant at all levels including ensuring our Terms and Conditions of competitions are adhered to, that street teams have valid licences, that our All Star vehicles are road-worthy, and that we have WHS assessments in place and signed off for all events.
To be successful in this role you will have:
You are currently in a similar role organising events and promotions, possibly within another media organisation or an organisation that has lots of events (big and small) and in various locations. (our Outside Broadcasts and associate promotional activities are epic) This role represents an opportunity for you to take the next step in your career within the media industry.
It would also be helpful for you to:
- Be a whiz with Canva or Photoshop
- Have an innate love of arts and crafts
- Create and attack a to-do list with gusto (you are a natural born planner)
Your goal will be to ensure that Star 104.5 is represented positively in the Central Coast market, creating great experiences for our audience to remember us by, both on-air and off. The role is critical to the team's success, and highly valued and respected by the experienced team you will be working alongside.
You will be energetic, creative, solutions focused and thrive on deadlines, with a keen mind for campaign implementation, events that really pop, and strong communication skills. Oh, and you like to have fun You will be passionate about the media industry but even more passionate about working with our brands, in a place which does things differently.
