Family-owned flooring and installation specialist with almost 60 years in the industry, renowned for their high-level of service professional advice. With a growing portfolio of sites across Australia, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Manager based in Gosford.

About the role

A full-time role with responsibility for the daily operations of the Trade Centre, you will ensure that your team is working safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard. Your key duties will include:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the full operation of the Trade Centre, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, EFTPOS reconciliation, and compliance with company credit policies.
  • Manage Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular analyses, coordinate reordering to balance supply and freight efficiency, and maintain stock presentation and rotation.
  • Maintain Store Presentation & Customer Experience: Ensure the Trade Centre is clean, well-presented, and fully stocked, including customer amenities and promotional displays for specials or clearance items.
  • Promote Sales & Customer Engagement: Support sales initiatives by organising promotional events, implementing monthly specials, and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance: Uphold WH&S and fire safety standards, ensure equipment servicing, and maintain a safe, compliant working environment.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of managing a warehouse team, open manual vehicle licence, forklift licence (LF) and demonstrate:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to motivate your team with leadership, performance management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret local market trends
  • Understanding of sales and KPI targets.

You should also be comfortable learning new computer systems and using software including Work, Excel and Outlook.
