Who We Are:

KG Foods is a leading food manufacturer and wholesaler serving FMCG products across multiple retail and foodservice networks throughout Australia and New Zealand. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee operations across three production facilities in the Dandenong area.

The Role:

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of all equipment across our three sites. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing maintenance activities across all sites to maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Driving and implementing a Preventative Maintenance Schedule, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
  • Planning and executing the installation of new equipment across all facilities, including developing comprehensive training for production staff.
  • Collaborating with the manufacturing team to identify productivity improvements, troubleshoot issues, and develop long-term solutions.
  • Supporting new project initiatives, demonstrating flexibility and innovation to meet project timelines.
  • Leading and motivating the maintenance team, fostering a proactive and safety-conscious work environment.
  • Facilitating capital projects, including planning, scoping, procurement, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Working closely with the Quality team to ensure equipment and maintenance processes meet HACCP, GMP, and Australian Standards.
  • Ensuring warehouse and plant maintenance comply with WH&S standards and regulations.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Proven experience in FMCG maintenance management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on approach with technical expertise in machinery maintenance and repair and available on call.
  • Strong background in production management, organisation, and planning, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable in liquid filling lines, form fill seal machines, and related equipment.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal and ability to build positive relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a maintenance team.
  • Comfortable multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HACCP, GMP, and relevant Australian standards.
