Marketing Specialist

Queensland Fencing Specialists, a leading seller of PVC fencing and accessories, including mailboxes and gate automation, is seeking a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team on a full time basis. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by implementing effective marketing strategies.

About the role:

Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing advertising policies and campaigns to support sales KPI, promoting our range of PVC fencing and accessories. Also, support the growth and development of the business by formulating marketing objectives, policies, and programs based on current goods stock levels.

You will also identify market opportunities to coordinate and execute marketing plans for product mix, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, selling techniques, and distribution channels.

Other responsibilities:

• Advise executives on targeted advertising strategies and campaigns to reach potential customers, creating awareness of our products and their attributes based on the current stock level and future incoming goods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives and the alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals to keep the healthy stock turnover during season sales.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify demand, market characteristics, and opportunities for new and existing PVC fencing products and accessories.
• Analyze consumer patterns and preferences, interpreting current and future trends to inform marketing decisions and product development.
• Develop and execute advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives, promoting our range of PVC fencing and accessories based on the current stock of goods.
• Support the growth and development of the business by formulating marketing objectives, policies, and programs.

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
• Proven experience in planning, developing, and organizing campaigns to support sales objectives.
• Strong advisory skills to provide effective guidance on strategies and campaigns, creating consumer awareness and promoting goods and services.
• Proficiency in analyzing consumer patterns, interpreting current and future consumer trends, and conducting comprehensive market research.
• Demonstrated ability to support business growth through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies, and campaigns.
• Previous experience providing marketing support and executing trade marketing activities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers and trade partners.
• Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
• Written and spoken Chinese would be considered an advantage.
• Strong expertise in market analysis, forecasting market demands, and monitoring inventory levels.
