Level 1-2 Support Engineer | Canberra | $75,000 - $80,000 + Super

The perfect opportunity for a skilled Support Engineer to join a fast-growing Managed Service Provider based in Canberra.

This role is hands-on and client-facing, working closely with the Service Desk whilst responding to escalations, monitoring systems and delivering IT projects.

This role provides the opportunity to obtain NV1 Clearance (paid for by the company).

What you'll be doing:

  • Dealing with Service Desk request and issues
  • Performing L2 onsite Engineering work (relocations, device deployments and troubleshooting IT, end user device and networking issues)
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and problem solving
  • Supporting IT projects, migrations and solution rollouts

The ideal candidate:

  • 3 years experience in IT Support, Service Desk and/or managed service operations
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and backup technologies
  • Experience with Virtualisation (VMware or HyperV)
  • Solid understanding on networking (switches, routers, WIFI)
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively with not only clients but the smaller on-site team
