About the role:

This role is 5 days per week, 30 hours per week (6 hours per day).

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management and co-ordination of the SPP Day Programs including effective program delivery, client management with support from Day Program Co-ordinator, client retention in programs, containing costs, staff co-ordination and management of process efficiency.

The candidate will also provide clinical support for the Day Program therapy and continuing care teams with support from the Clinical Director and Director, Inpatient and Day Programs when required.

There is also the opportunity to work strategically with the GM and executive to continuously improve engagement in the SPP Day Programs.

Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology / Counselling or Graduate Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy
  • Registered with an appropriate Counselling/Psychotherapy/Psychology body
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Experience and understanding of Addiction and 12 step program
  • Experience in trauma-informed practice and delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, (written and oral)
  • NSW National Police Check
  • Collaborative planning and organising skills, and excellent time management skills
  • Assertive and grounded with the ability to maintain strong boundaries
