Inpatient Clinical Coordinator (2 days per week)About Us

As a fully-accredited, 54-bed private hospital, South Pacific offers the very highest levels of clinical expertise. South Pacific Private is part of Sana Health Group an Australasian leader in behavioural health services. All programs are supervised by a multi-disciplinary and expert team of psychiatrists, psychologist, general practitioners, registered nurses, psychotherapist and counsellors.

About The Role
In this role the successful candidate will support the functioning and clinical co-ordination of therapeutic services of SPP and Clinical Direction Committee (CDC) which may include contribution to policy development, co-ordination of Case Review Meetings, co-ordination of student clinical placements, supporting the MET table, offering therapeutic and administration support for clients, support for administrative tasks for the inpatient team, co-ordination of staff training sessions, completion of QI audits and management of SPP's external professional referral database.
Standard Requirements:
Professional integrity, adherence to a professional code of ethics and confidentiality requirements as per SPP policy
Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional internal and external boundaries
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment effectively, respecting difference and diversity
Essential Criteria:
Bachelor's degree, Graduate Diploma or Master's Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences or related field
If applicable, to have at least five years of personal recovery
Leadership, organisational and management skills
Sound commercial understanding and experience
Sound knowledge and understanding of the Private Health and Mental Health Sectors in NSW and Australia
A high level of professional competence and personal integrity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation
Initiative, commitment and flexibility
Diplomacy and tact
Demonstrated ability in staff management, strategic planning and project management
Highly developed customer service and stakeholder relationship skills
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, creativity, planning and organising
