About the Role

We're seeking an 
experienced L & D Co-ordinator
to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that strengthen trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice across community mental health services.

You'll play a key role in building the capability of our workforce who deliver psychosocial and mental health support, ensuring training connects directly to real-world service delivery and practice excellence.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on connection, is passionate about helping others grow, and knows how to create safe, supportive learning environments where meaningful, recovery-oriented change happens.

In this role, you will:

  • Design + deliver engaging in-house learning across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Facilitate training that embeds trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practice that reflects contemporary mental health service delivery.
  • Own and evolve our LMS — build and maintain high-quality digital content that supports blended delivery for remote + frontline teams.
  • Track, monitor and report on training participation, compliance + outcomes to meet practice + regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with the Capability & Enablement Manager on training needs analysis, capability uplift initiatives and practice framework implementation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, participation, and professional growth.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, evaluating training outcomes and identifying opportunities to enhance learning effectiveness.

About You

You're an experienced and confident facilitator who thrives on helping others grow. You bring creativity, initiative, and a practical understanding of training design and delivery across blended learning formats in a community or human services context.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training in a mental health, psychosocial, or community services context.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice frameworks.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven ability to connect learning with service delivery outcomes.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, people-centred environment.
  • Proficiency with learning systems and digital training tools.
  • Ability to meet mandatory screening and training requirements (e.g. current criminal history check, NDIS Worker Orientation).
