Learning and Development Officer

**You will do this by**:
- Delivering learning and development activities including information sessions, workshops and training to facilitate effective, consistent and informative customer service delivery.
- Coordinating the planning, administration and resources necessary to prepare and deliver learning and development activities within agreed timeframes and to specified outcomes.
- Evaluating and recommending suitable external training providers and facilitators to deliver training with an emphasis on providing value for money, consistency and quality outcomes.
- Providing advice on contemporary training practices and methodologies to senior management and if appropriate adapting or modifying to suit individual locations and learning needs.
- Evaluating internal and external learning and development activities and regularly monitoring feedback to assist improved training methods and outcomes.
- Conducting training needs analyses and developing relevant training plans.
- Leading and ensuring you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
The work location for this position is either Brisbane CBD or any Housing Service Centre.
