The Role
You will be the glue that keeps a busy professional office running. This is a hands-on administrative position supporting the HMW Group Maroochydore accounting team of seven people. You'll be the steady pair of hands behind the scenes, keeping client information accurate, correspondence timely, and systems humming.
A typical week could include:-
- Setting up and maintaining client records across multiple software systems.
- Preparing and lodging ASIC and ATO documentation with precision.
- Drafting trust distribution minutes and trustee correspondence.
- Managing financial compilation and invoicing schedules.
- Maintaining company registers and minutes.
- Coordinating the HR calendar (anniversaries, birthdays, scheduling reviews).
- Coordinating social events
- Supporting billing, debtors, and reporting for senior executives.
- Checking SMSF status and assembling packs for offshore processing.
- Day to day office tasks – from greeting clients, making coffee, ordering stationery to having the boardroom set up for meetings.
Salary will be commensurate with your level of experience.
You'll report to your team partner and work closely with the directors, accountants, and administrators with training and remote support provided from the team in the Brisbane office.
About You
You ideally have administration experience in a professional office – accounting, legal, health, or similar – or you might be moving across from a hospitality environment. Either way, you're organised, tech-savvy, confident to embrace software systems like MYOB AE, Xero PM, DocuSign, and Now Infinity. Providing you have a keen eye for accuracy and know what it takes to support busy professionals and keep things running smoothly, we can upskill you in the structured, compliance focused side of professional practice.
