Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Settlements Coordinator?
Are you detail-driven and process-oriented with a knack for managing documentation and credit workflows? We're looking for a Settlements Coordinator to join our back-office operations team, supporting the novated leasing process from credit application through to settlement—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every step of the way.
This is a non-customer-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, managing documentation, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring all credit and settlement processes are completed to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue finance and leasing documentation with precision and timeliness
- Support the end-to-end novated lease settlement process, including credit application coordination
- Liaise with financiers, employers, and dealers to ensure all documentation is complete and compliant
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding documents to ensure timely settlements
- Ensure all data entry and system updates are accurate and aligned with compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to support seamless post-sale fulfilment
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy and regulatory requirements
What you will bring:
- 1+ year experience in a back-office, finance, or compliance-based role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Familiarity with credit application processes or leasing documentation (preferred)
- Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
- Proficiency with internal systems and documentation workflows

- Support for all parents with a progressive, gender-neutral parental leave policy: up to 20 weeks Paid Parental Leave, superannuation contributions and a Return-to-Work Bonus
- Salary packaging and novated leasing benefits (of course)
