Lagoon Dining is a hatted restaurant and bar dishing up food that leans heavily on Chinese culinary traditions. It is an expression of food we love to eat and to cook, dished up heartily alongside booze we like to swill - a place for friends and fun.
Our kitchen team is expanding. We are looking for a driven and competent Chef de Partie to join our small team on a full-time basis. You will work closely with our Head Chef Keat Lee in driving quality and consistency. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Asian cuisine and cooking techniques and who will have the ability to work in a fast-paced team-orientated environment.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Have 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Be adaptable, organised and have a keen eye for detail.
- Have experience managing and owning your own section in the kitchen.
- Ability to support the head chef.
- Good understanding of Asian flavours and cooking techniques.
- Follows direction well, with good communication and execution skills.
