The Opportunity
Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to find the next National Account Manager, a pivotal role in driving success during an exciting period of transformation and growth, with a new CEO at the helm. The position is based in Brisbane's CBD, offering a hybrid work model and requiring some travel to Sydney and Melbourne.
This is a prime opportunity to join a business that has recently undergone a strategic transformation following its recent acquisition by a privately owned multinational. The move reflects a strong commitment to strengthening customer and partner engagement in Australia and cementing the company's position as a key player in the dynamic lifestyle technology and gaming accessories market.
We're looking for an experienced Account Manager who knows the retail space and thrives on building lasting relationships with clients, store managers, and stakeholders. You'll be selling physical products, presenting them with confidence, and delivering complete solutions; often combining multiple products to meet customer needs.

What You'll Do
Channel Development
- Conduct regular visits to key clients at both head office and store levels
- Build and nurture relationships with owners, managers, and executives
- Design and run product promotions and customer engagement activities
- Prepare quotes, deal structures, and compelling proposals
- Respond promptly to customer concerns and operational issues
- Deliver exceptional customer service with strong product knowledge
Store Level Development
- Build productive relationships with store staff, managers, and regional leaders
- Develop effective merchandising and stock management strategies
- Create training plans to boost store sales performance
Sales Performance
- Achieve or exceed sales targets
- Maintain call cycles and store visit coverage
- Support team goals and budgets
- Gather and share market intelligence and competitor insights
Team Support
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
- Maintain safe work practices and professional presentation
- Represent the company at events (some outside standard business hours)
Reporting
- Submit monthly forecasts, opportunities, and risk reports
- Provide weekly revenue, client performance, and store activity updates
