The Opportunity
We're seeking a hands-on
National Sales Manager
to lead a team of four Sales Professionals (Can be based in Brisbane or Sydney). You'll set strategy, coach the team, and own execution to accelerate revenue, market share and account quality while maintaining best-practice compliance.
What you'll do
- Set the plan:
Build the national sales strategy, territory design, targets and incentive plans aligned to company goals. - Lead & coach:
Manage, mentor and develop a team of four; run weekly pipeline reviews, ride-alongs, and skill development. - Grow revenue:
Drive new prescriber acquisition, pharmacy engagement and distributor performance; optimise product mix and repeat business. - Account excellence:
Implement key account plans for top clinics/pharmacies; resolve supply and service issues with speed. - Data-driven decisions:
Own forecasting, funnel hygiene and dashboards (conversion, coverage, call quality, DSO, gross margin). - Cross-functional:
Partner with Medical/Compliance, Supply Chain and Marketing to align demand, education and inventory. - Compliance first:
Ensure all activities meet TGA/ODC and company SOPs; model ethical, patient-centred selling.
About you
- Proven
people leader
managing a field sales team (ideally 3–6 reps) with clear revenue results. - Background in medicinal cannabis or holistic/adjacent therapeutics (e.g., specialty pharma, nutraceuticals, pharmacy).
- Strong account management with HCPs/clinics/pharmacies; comfortable at the clinic and executive level.
- Commercial toolkit: territory planning, KPIs, forecasting, CRM discipline, tender/wholesale basics.
- High integrity, coach mindset, and a bias for action.
- Full AU work rights; valid driver licence; willingness to travel interstate (≈20–30%).
Nice to have
- Experience launching new SKUs/strengths or shaping medical education with a Medical/MA team.
- Understanding of TGA/ODC compliance and pharmacy distribution models.
