DAVINES AND PURE NATIONAL EDUCATION MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Education Manager to lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of education across our national network. This pivotal leadership role will drive technical excellence, brand advocacy, and sales performance by designing education that empowers our internal teams, customers, and salon partners.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will align education with core business objectives. Developing high-impact programs that not only elevate skills and product knowledge, but also influence purchasing decisions, strengthen customer loyalty, and drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the professional hair industry, combined with leadership experience in technical education, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for team development.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the national education strategy, aligning all education initiatives with the company's commercial goals and brand positioning.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure education supports key launches, customer engagement initiatives, and sales campaigns.
- Champion the role of education as a growth driver, identifying innovative ways to use training to increase product adoption, retention, and revenue.
Commercial Education Focus
- Develop customer-centric education programs that drive product sell-in and sell-through.
- Introduce advanced, tailored training options for key accounts to build deeper relationships and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and report on ROI from education activities, including metrics such as sales uplift, customer satisfaction, and program effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the national education team, creating a high-performance, values-led culture.
- Equip educators with the tools and skills to deliver impactful, engaging, and brand-aligned training that supports sales objectives.
- Drive a feedback-rich environment that encourages continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
Program Delivery & Operations
- Oversee the national education calendar and logistics, ensuring training aligns with product launches, sales priorities, and business development opportunities.
- Manage and optimise educational content across digital, in-salon, classroom, and event formats.
- Ensure consistency and excellence in training delivery across all regions and channels.
Technical Expertise & Support
- Be the go-to expert for technical and product-related queries, providing high-level support to internal teams and external partners.
- Partner with the Product Development and Marketing teams to develop training content that reflects brand tone, product innovation, and market trends.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in the professional hair industry, ideally in a senior education or commercial education leadership role.
- Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated success in using education to drive business outcomes—particularly sales growth, product engagement, and customer retention.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, develop, and inspire teams nationally.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with digital learning platforms is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong organisational and project management skills.
