The Role
Manage a portfolio of assigned customers while developing growth from existing relationships and actively seeking new sales opportunities. Report directly to the Branch Manager - Queensland and deliver client-focused solutions that meet technical and commercial needs across the AV technology category.
The Company
Join a well-established Australian family owned specialist IT distributor with $140m+ turnover and showrooms and distribution centres in major cities across Australia. They're known for supporting local businesses both small and large, providing tailored business solutions and working with leading global technology brands in an engaging, agile and performance driven culture.
Duties
- Meet and exceed sales budgets by maximising all brands in AV category
- Maintain minimum periodic customer sales activity points and CRM transactions
- Develop strong relationships with customers and their stakeholders
- Create and maintain strategic account plans for each assigned customer
- Identify growth opportunities within Queensland territory to meet Branch budgets
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Deliver client-focused solutions based on customer technical and commercial needs
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in sales (retail or distribution) or account management
- Understanding and knowledge of AV technology and general channel industry desirable
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Ability to work independently and in teams to achieve sales and profit targets
- Strong experience with CRM software and MS Office (Excel essential)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
- Own transport and valid driver's licence required
