Berry Park Village are seeking a dedicated Retirement Village Manager to oversee the daily operations of our established village. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while managing a vibrant community with care, professionalism, and purpose.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where residents feel truly at home. You'll lead with empathy and integrity, ensuring both residents and staff are supported, valued, and empowered. Your role will focus on delivering exceptional resident experiences, fostering a positive team culture, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the village
  • Lead, support, and develop a dedicated team of staff
  • Ensure compliance with the Retirement Villages Act, Regulations, and other applicable legislation
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and local stakeholders
  • Coordinate resident services and respond promptly to maintenance requests
  • Manage village accounts within budget
  • Organise meaningful social events and wellness programs
  • Network with local community groups to attract future residents
  • Champion a culture of care, respect, and resident satisfaction

Skills / Attributes

  • Previous management experience in retirement living, hospitality, or service delivery
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Good IT skills and comfort with digital systems
  • Understanding of the Retirement Villages Act, Regulations, and other applicable legislation
  • A caring and thoughtful nature with a genuine passion for working with older people
  • A commitment to supporting and motivating staff to deliver outstanding resident experiences

What's Required?

  • National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Drivers Licence
