The role

James Milson Village is seeking passionate, professional and flexible Aged Care Employee – Carer/AIN.

We are looking to build a pool of Aged Care Employees (AINs) to support future and ongoing opportunities across our services (Permanent, PT, Casual) at James Milson Village.

Their primary function is provide high quality, safe and effective personal care that aligns with individual resident choices and best practice to the residents of James Milson Village at Woolwich and North Sydney.

Who we are looking for

• You will be a team player, professional, friendly and can work a regular roster within our village
• Must have at least one year experience in a similar role; preferably in aged care
• Additional knowledge/qualifications in other aged care related fields (e.g., dementia care, continence) is desirable
• Excellent customer service and nursing/care skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy aged care home
• Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride personal appearance.
• Strive for excellence in care and service for our people

The role:

A perfect role for a Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a Residential Aged Care home at North Sydney OR Woolwich, AM/PM/Night shifts, casual or part time.

You will provide holistic care and deliver best-practices in person-centred care. You will lead our care team to deliver safe and effective both consumer choice and clinical care to our residents. You will be responsible for ensuring that our consumers receive the care they need with dignity, respect and involving them in all decisions about their health.

• Must have at least two years experience in a similar role; preferably in aged care
• Excellent clinical knowledge and competent documentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate services, supervise staff when necessary
• Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy aged care home
• Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride personal appearance.
• Strive for excellence in care and service for our people

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Knowledge of E-case system will be highly regarded
