The role

Reporting to the P&C Director, the Head of Organisation Development & Capability will act as a strategic advisor to the executive team — shaping the thinking, frameworks and initiatives that build long-term organisational effectiveness.

You'll design a forward-looking capability and culture strategy that strengthens leadership at every level, drives engagement across a diverse workforce, and ensures the organisation is prepared for future opportunities. Partnering closely with senior leaders, you'll influence decisions that impact talent pipelines, leadership development and inclusion outcomes, while also guiding a passionate team to deliver programs that turn strategy into lived experience.

This role will suit an experienced and credible leader who thrives in the space between strategy and execution — equally comfortable shaping the conversation in the boardroom as you are designing initiatives that inspire and enable people to do their best work.

Key responsibilities

  • Shape and deliver an enterprise-wide capability, OD and culture strategy that positions the organisation for long-term success
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on leadership, engagement, succession and organisational effectiveness
  • Partner with leaders to embed programs that strengthen culture, diversity, equity and inclusion across the workforce
  • Guide and inspire a talented team of specialists to deliver initiatives that engage people and lift performance
  • Build clear measures of success for capability, engagement and cultural outcomes
