**The Position**

The Head of Clinical Development is a newly created position, reporting directly to the CEO of Aculeus Therapeutics. Working closely with the Head of Medicinal Chemistry and Head of Immuno-biology, the Head of Clinical Development will play a vital role in shaping the future growth and direction, including operational aspects, of trial related activities of the small molecule portfolio.

The Head of Clinical Development will provide strategic and operational expertise to the organisation to support the building of internal early clinical trials capability, including first-in-human studies. The incumbent will establish the clinical project plan, coordinate partner agreements for multi-site Phase I and II Oncology trials and create a project specific governance framework that complies with relevant legislation. Working with key research partners, consultants and hospital stakeholders, the Head of Clinical Development will oversee the establishment and maintenance of trial sites in accordance with protocols and relevant regulatory guidelines across various jurisdictions.

The incumbent will be commercially astute, outcomes focused with the ability to be resourceful and tenacious in approach.
