About the Role
We are looking for an experienced the Change Implementation manager is responsible for planning, assessing, and implementing complex changes within the IT environment to ensure service stability and compliance. This role will lead the end-to-end process of evaluating, authorising, and implementing changes while minimising risk to business operations and maintaining the integrity of IT services.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Develop and manage implementation plans for complex Requests for Change (RFCs) across multiple systems and services.
- Assess and evaluate risks to service integrity, including availability, performance, security, and compliance impacts.
- Obtain appropriate change authority approvals and ensure all change activities adhere to organisational governance standards.
- Lead the assessment, analysis, documentation, and execution of change activities to ensure successful delivery and minimal disruption.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of change implementations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of change management policies, processes, and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams, service owners, and business stakeholders to ensure changes meet operational and strategic objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of change activities and ensure compliance with ITIL and internal standards.
Requirements and Experience
- Proven experience in Change Management within large or complex IT environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles, particularly the Change and Release Management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to assess technical and operational risks related to change.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through change implementation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) preferred
- Minimum NV1 required
