Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic
Focus Energy Solutions'
team as a
BMS Account Manager
. In this full-time role you will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and driving sales growth within the Building Management Systems (BMS) market.
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team with BMS sales and estimating experience. The successful applicant will be required to work closely with our technical team and our long term customers.
The role involves managing key accounts, analysing client needs, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes. The individual will also actively participate in contract negotiations and strategic planning to drive revenue growth and ensure long-term partnerships.
What you'll be doing
- The role requires a combination of technical cost estimating from specifications, site visits, system design, and face to face customer support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing BMS customers to drive repeat business and maximise account growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the BMS market, leveraging your industry expertise and network.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the sales, technical, and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
What we're looking for
- Proficient in Excel and Google spreadsheets, project estimating, provide well written proposals and have the personality to build and maintain genuine customer relationships.
- Proven track record of success in account management or business development within the BMS industry.
- Strong technical understanding of BMS systems and the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
