We're seeking a process-driven, detail-focused Accounts Officer to join our friendly team and take ownership of day-to-day finance and administrative operations.


About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this hands-on role combines bookkeeping and payroll with office coordination and systems administration.

It's ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and loves improving processes to make the business run smoothly.


What you'll do

  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing and BAS preparation
  • Prepare weekly payroll and assist with HR documentation
  • Bank reconciliations, cash forecasts and management reporting
  • Manage reception and shared inboxes for finance and administration
  • Oversee fleet management – registrations, insurance and tolls
  • Support project administration and continuous process improvement
  • Coordinatetravel bookings and general office services

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years' bookkeeping experience, ideally with Xero
  • Strong reconciliation and payroll skills
  • High attention to detail with a process-driven, analytical mindset
  • Excellent Excel and MS Office proficiency
  • Organised, proactive and able to work independently
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
