About the role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Agritract (NSW) Pty Ltd in Camden, NSW. This is a permanent position, where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy vehicles and machinery.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct regular servicing and maintenance of diesel-powered trucks, tractors, and other heavy equipment

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems

  • Ensure all equipment is kept in safe and optimal working condition

  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, complying with NHVR reqirements.

  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient operations

What we're looking for

  • Relevant trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics or a similar field

  • Extensive experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the road transport or manufacturing industries

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and customer service skills
