The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Underground Mobile Maintenance and Light Vehicle Tradespersons to perform mechanical maintenance tasks on both breakdown and servicing of mobile equipment and light vehicles.  Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertaking planned corrective maintenance tasks according to site and statutory requirements
  • Acting on breakdown maintenance requests
  • Providing mechanical maintenance support, monitor plant availability/capacity and maintain equipment required to meet shift or daily targets

What you will bring

Drawing upon your proven experience in mining operations and with mining machinery, you will be renowned for your strong focus and commitment to safety.  Other desired skills and experience include;

  • Mechanical trade certificate
  • Experience with Epiroc development and production drills, Epiroc 5020/6020 trucks, CAT 2900 loaders and CAT AD45B trucks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be a great team player in both small and large teams and you want the team to succeed
  • An independence that allows you to complete tasks and achieve outcomes
