ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
Are you ready to kickstart a rewarding career in heavy plant mechanics? We are looking for an energetic and mechanically minded individual to join our Workshop team Reporting to the Supervisor Mechanical Services, this position will assist in the maintenance and repair of a variety of plant and machinery.
As an Apprentice Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic you will be studying a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology which is estimated to take up to 3 years to complete. Click here for further information of what you will be studying.

The rewards
- An salary paid in line with the Local Government (State) Award. Dependent upon your age and when you completed high school, the weekly salary range is $601 to $947 (plus 12% superannuation).
- 4 weeks annual leave and additional time off to attend compulsory study.
