About the role

Ready to lead the charge in driving growth for some of Australia's biggest businesses? As our Head of Account Growth (Enterprise), you'll set the strategy, inspire high-performing teams, and make sure our Enterprise customers get the best of Vocus.

Reporting to the Enterprise General Manager, this is a pivotal second-line leadership role where you'll:

  • Lead and coach
    multiple Account Management teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Shape the game plan
    for territory and pipeline management.
  • Own the numbers
    with accurate forecasting and performance oversight.

This is a hybrid role with plenty of variety—expect regular travel to customer sites and regional offices as you build relationships and make things happen.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive strategic account growth
    by setting long-term plans, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring retention across Enterprise customers.
  • Build strong client relationships
    through regular business reviews and value-add engagements, fostering satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee performance and pipeline
    across Account Management teams, coaching leaders and intervening to meet segment targets.
  • Ensure operational excellence
    by governing CRM data, forecasting accuracy, and managing budgets and resource allocation for profitability.
  • Influence cross-functional alignment
    with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to deliver on customer needs and growth objectives.

Skills:

  • Proven expertise in account growth and retention
    with 6+ years in leadership roles; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Advanced capability in strategic account planning
    , pipeline development, and driving upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Exceptional relationship management
    with senior stakeholders (C-suite/Government) and strong commercial governance skills (contracts, pricing, renewals).
  • Leadership in performance management
    , coaching first-line managers, and shaping high-performing teams.
  • Strong operational and strategic oversight
    , including forecasting, resource allocation, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
