About the role:
Join RACQ's Legal team and contribute to delivering high-quality, commercially focused legal advice across the RACQ Group. Working within a team of experienced lawyers and reporting to the General Counsel, you'll play an important role in supporting strategic and operational outcomes by ensuring compliance, managing legal risk, and guiding confident decision-making throughout the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
Provide timely corporate and commercial legal advice across the RACQ Group, supporting strategic goals and regulatory complianceAssist with dispute resolution, litigation management, and liaising with external legal counsel as requiredDraft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, and advise on governance and regulatory mattersMonitor legislative developments and support implementation across motoring, travel, and financial services operationsDevelop training materials and support staff education on legal topics including privacy, trade practices, and IPCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks, promote cost-effective practices, and contribute to a safe, compliant workplaceAbout you:
Hold a university degree in law or a related field, with up to 3 years of relevant legal experience. Graduates are welcome to apply.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teamsSolid understanding of key legal areas such as contract law and Australian Consumer LawDemonstrated skills in negotiation, time management, and sound decision-makingConfident using Microsoft Office and legal tools to support day-to-day operationsWhy join RACQ?
