Your Role

The Warehouse Supervisor role at Vinnies Return and Earn warehouse in Unanderra is currently vacant. This permanent full-time role will report to the Return and Earn Area Manager and is responsible for leading the overall operations at the site, and a team of warehouse assistants/ production hands. You will have well-rounded knowledge and experience relevant to the role and proven people leadership skills.

Your Responsibility
Assign, plan and delegate work flow activities of the warehouse to ensure efficient and accurate processing of container deposits with minimum damage from handlingProvide a safe environment for workers and visitors, ensuring that WHS procedures are understood and practiced alwaysMonitor and coordinate bulk bin collections and safe truck movements on site by service partnerCoordinate repairs, cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipmentSchedule and oversee the disposal of rejected containers or other waste items as appropriateDemonstrate team leadership via regular communication and attention to quality assurance and consistently high standards of performance. You Will Need
Demonstrated experience as Warehouse supervisor; proven leadership skillsExperience in negotiation, conflict management skillsExcellent organisational skillsDemonstrated understanding of WHS and effective implementation of safety proceduresProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence.
