Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of goods.

This hands-on role ensures that inventory is received, stored, and dispatched in a timely and organized manner, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure proper storage and labelling. Oversee kit assembly to meet production and dispatch timelines.
  • Receiving & Dispatch: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including staging materials for production and verifying shipment documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support warehouse staff through task delegation, training, performance reviews, and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce WHS standards, maintain ISO 9001 compliance, and ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies using lean principles. Collaborate with production and logistics to streamline workflows.
  • Systems & Reporting: Utilize WMS to track inventory and generate reports on stock levels, order fulfilment, and team performance.
  • Equipment Oversight: Ensure safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with production, procurement, and logistics to align warehouse activities with business needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma: Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Warehousing (preferred but not always required).
  • Supervisory Experience: Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing a small team.
  • Warehouse Operations: Experience in Warehouse and Supply Chain Operations.
  • WMS Systems: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (preferred SAP ERP experience).
  • License and Certification: Forklift Licence. First Aid Certification.
  • Maintenance Knowledge: Understanding of 6S methodology.
