Our client is an innovative packaging and supply solutions company with decades of experience in providing product solutions together with logístical and distribution services to major clients across the country.

They work with some of the country’s most loved wholesale and retail food brands.

With national presence across Australia, an amazing opportunity has become available to join our client at their State of the Art, QLD Head Office and 12,000 sqm Distribution Centre in the Logan City area as a
**Warehouse**
**Manager**.

This is a Monday to Friday position with start time of 7 or 7.30 am and finishing time of either 4 or 4.30 pm (with 1 hour lunch break).

**The Role**:
This role is integral to the business. It is the heartbeat of the company as you are accountable for the overall management of the distribution centre.

This role has 2 direct reports (Dispatch Coordinator and In-coming Goods Supervisor) and 9 indirect reports (Pick Packers). This role reports to the QLD State Manager.

More specifically, your day to day responsibilities are as follows:

- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Support your 2 direct reports (In-Coming Goods Supervisor and Dispatch Coordinator)
- Full accountability for stocktake and inventory management, gate processes, and shipping.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies as required.
- Weekly audit of inventory.
- Develop and implement stock replenishment procedure.
- Implement operational policies, procedures and security operations.
- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Manage workload by delegating staff.
- Motivate, develop and train the team.
- Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Assist with packing where required.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project manage movement and/or new layout of stock in the warehouse.
- Ad-hoc and general admin duties.

You will need to meet the following criteria to be successful:

- Must have warehouse management experience (3+ years)
- Must take full ownership of the warehouse
- Have people management experience (10+ team members)
- Have WMS experience (Exonet (desired))
- Have Forklift with Reach Truck licence (LF)
- Ability to delegate workload
- Support the team operationally as required
- Be diligent, meticulous and accurate
- Have advanced communication skills
- Experience in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Intermediate skills using Excel
- Be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
- Have your own reliable transport - Free parking on site
- Must be a great communicator and a lateral thinker (ability to see 2 steps ahead)
- Must be well organised
- Be accountable and follow through with what you promise
- Have a collaborative and systematic approach to daily tasks
- Must have full working rights in Australia - No restrictions
