Warehouse Workers are the backbone of our operations, playing a pivotal role in ensuring a safe, smooth and efficient workflow within the warehousing and multi-tiered stores system.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team based in Grafton.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of Network stores and materials, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, dispatch and delivery of stores and material.
  • They will also be required to use appropriate handling and packaging equipment to prepare shipments for safe delivery to regional depots.
  • In addition, they will carry out stock check activities as required, identify and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor, and maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment through daily housekeeping duties.
  • They will also be responsible for carrying out regular inspections of all manual handling plant and equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose, maintaining an accident-free workplace.
Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake primary functions of receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatch of stores and materials in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Use appropriate handling and packaging equipment to prepare shipments for safe delivery to regional depots.
  • Carry out stock check activities as required and identify and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
  • Carry out housekeeping duties on a daily basis to ensure a clean, safe and efficient working environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ahere to all company procedures and policies and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and away from home as required.
  • Safely operate heavy combination vehicles in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations (where applicable).
  • Delivering to multiple depots which includes unloading and loading freight (where applicable).
  • Conduct pre trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer are road worthy (where applicable).
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation (where applicable).
Requirements
  • Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Drivers Licence.
