Are you ready to begin a rewarding journey in Business Administration? NECA Education & Careers is offering a 12-month full-time Business Traineeship in collaboration with a not-for-profit organisation based in Clayton. This paid role provides valuable hands on experience in administration and reception, while you work towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
About the Opportunity
We're looking for someone with a clear goal to build a career in reception and develop foundational skills in accounts and business administration. If you're seeking to transition from retail or hospitality into a professional office environment, this traineeship offers the perfect pathway. You'll be employed by NECA Education & Careers and placed with a host employer that provide education, careers and training courses to the electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Working full-time from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday at the Clayton office, your duties may include:
- Greeting clients and providing reception support
- Assisting apprentices, clients, and candidates with training course and assessment bookings
- Responding to general enquiries via phone and email with excellent customer service
- Maintaining databases, filing systems, and online booking platforms
- Supporting the accounts team with accounts payable and administrative tasks
- Performing general office administration as required
We're seeking candidates who demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and a genuine passion for customer service
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to successfully complete a national police check
What You'll Receive
