CTP Technical Claims Specialist

Purpose of the role
The CTP Technical Claims Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting our third-party claims team in the delivery of high-quality outcomes through technical leadership, collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Champion Youi's values to foster a strong, customer-focused claims experience
- Provide expert advice on complex CTP claims, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements while promoting best practice claims management
- Conduct technical reviews and audits of claims to identify risks, ensure accuracy, and uphold quality standards across the team
- Monitor claims decisions to support sound financial outcomes.Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulators, legal representatives, and our third-party claims team.
- Incorporate data driven insights and collaboration to identify opportunities to enhance claims management outcomes and performance
- Contribute to reporting on claims performance, trends, and providing insights that inform decision-making.
About You
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in CTP claims with claims management experience (NSW MAIA scheme)
- Sound knowledge of CTP legislation, processes, and legal frameworks
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- High integrity, accountability, and professional judgement
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to identifying risks, solutions and continuously improving claims outcomes
- Comfortable in fast-paced, change-driven environments
- Experience in coaching, feedback, and team support
- Commitment to continuous learning and cross-functional collaboration
