About the role:

Seymour College is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Sports Administrator to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the College's diverse and high-quality sports programs. This position leads and supports a team of coaches to ensure a high-quality sporting experience that encourages participation, skill development, wellbeing and pathways to excellence.

This permanent, part time role is offered at 0.73 FTE, working 32 hours per week for 41 weeks of the year. This role requires availability to work from 7.00am two mornings a week (days negotiable), and one Saturday a month, and commences mid-January 2026.

The key responsibilities are to:

  • Coordinating logistics and communications for sporting activities, fixtures, and carnivals.
  • Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and compliance requirements for coaching staff.
  • Assisting with budgeting, invoicing, and financial administration.
  • Managing scheduling and bookings for sporting facilities, including the Sports Centre and ovals.
  • Maintaining accurate data in systems such as Clipboard, Synergetic, and Consent2Go.
  • Supporting major sporting events including Intercol, Sports Days, and the Duncan Sports Dinner.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of sports programs and events.

About you:

As the successful candidate, you will bring:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in sports administration, event coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with students, staff, and families.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence in learning new digital systems.
  • A positive, adaptable, and team-focused approach.
  • Current certifications, including Working with Children Check, RRHAN-EC, and First Aid in an education setting (HLTAID012).
