The Role:We are looking for a Sales Manager (Independent Contractor) with proven experience in the pet food industry and a strong track record of managing Petbarn accounts nationwide. This role will be pivotal in driving sales performance, expanding market reach, and strengthening relationships with key retail partners in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow Petbarn accounts across Australia, ensuring sales targets and market objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and brand visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Petbarn and other key accounts, identifying opportunities and resolving issues.
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and recommendations to guide strategic decisions.
  • Represent the company at trade events, training sessions, and account meetings as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager in the pet food or pet care industry.
  • Demonstrated success in handling Petbarn accounts nationwide.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently as an Independent Contractor while collaborating closely with the regional team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for account visits, training, and client engagement.
