**The Opportunity**
Our Finance Manufacturing team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a **Finance Analyst** within our Energy & Carbon team. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at that deliver a variety of steel products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
This is an exciting opportunity where you’ll work within the Commercial Energy Team and play a key role in driving optimal commercial outcomes in energy and utilities. Your focus will be on continual improvement of cost reporting and management, providing new insights on energy utilisation and costs drivers and working closely with key stakeholders across the business to support high profile energy initiatives.

**What Will You Do?**
You’ll use your financial expertise to support our various functions to manage and minimise energy spend; while maintaining a broad network of relationships, you’ll be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring financial elements of the business strategies are met. You will also be:
- providing expert financial advice and analysis to assist the business in achieving strategic objectives
- supporting with accounting and reporting processes, with a focus on driving consistency and creating an accounting and reporting centre of excellence
- streamlining monthly reporting and forecast processes
- providing insights and data analysis to ensure optimal energy and to influence decision making
- developing and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to gather data and understand business requirements
- supporting various projects and energy optimisation initiatives
**More About You**
As an experienced Finance Analyst, who enjoys partnering and continuous improvement, you will bring:
- tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting or related discipline
- CPA / CA qualifications or near completion preferred
- developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- experience partnering with cross-functional teams and the ability to translate financial information to a breadth of stakeholders
- a high degree of attention to detail
- the ability to manage deadlines and conflicting priorities
