**About the role**

WesTrac is currently looking for a detail orientated Warranty Officer to join our Warranty Team. This position is based at either of our Casula or Tomago Branches working Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Warranty Manager, this role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of warranty and service letter claims, ensuring the maximum recovery of costs from Caterpillar.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Creating, receiving and registering warranty documents for new machines, used machines, work tools and engines
- Assisting in developing process improvements to automate business processes within the warranty department
- Assist internal departments with warranty relating invoicing
- Actioning all queries through internal warranty helpdesk
- Processing transfer of ownership and management of fuel edge rebates

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in processing warranty claims
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems
- Well-developed administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be assertive in necessary situations
- Developed analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite)
