WesTrac are seeking an Inventory Planner to join the team at Tomago With an emphasis on organisational skills, this position is responsible for maintaining the supply of inventory to distribution centers and regional branches across NSW.

This position will be rostered to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintaining and arranging the purchase of inventory
- Processing payment of invoices
- Overseeing the lifecycle of new inventory
- Weekly reporting to improve supply and demand, including generating general stocktake reports on request
- Assist with helpdesk enquiries
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding unrecorded/un-receipted items and submit claims to Caterpillar for items short shipped or incorrectly supplied
- Liaise with the WesTrac Warranty Department and submit claims for Caterpillar new parts warranty.

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong organisational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities
- Previous experience within an inventory or purchasing environment
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Demonstrated experience with SAP
- Advances computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite, more specifically MS Excel) Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Previous Caterpillar knowledge is highly regarded
