About the Role

The Operations Manager holds accountability for ensuring the safe and efficient management of our MQF production facility in Brisbane, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Leading the operations team, the focus is on driving continuous improvements while fostering a positive 'One Team' culture.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your key responsibilities will be to lead your team in the delivery of all site KPI’s and will include:
Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve production, efficiency, and quality targets.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and lean principles to enhance processes and performance.
Develop the skills and capabilities of the operations team through training and mentorship.
Foster a positive work environment that motivates staff and promotes collaboration.
Ensure strict adherence to health and food safety guidelines to uphold product quality.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and change processes to minimize disruptions.
Monitor shift performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Analyze key metrics to drive informed decision-making and optimize performance.

**What You'll Bring**:
Degree qualifications in Management, Food Technology, Science, Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience in FMCG operations management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent collaboration skills with an ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
Extensive knowledge of safety, GMP/HACCP, and lean manufacturing principles.
Track record of success driving continuous improvement across all key metrics
