Hyatt Shared Services Australia provides the shared payroll function and local HRIS support for 11 Hyatt branded Hotels and 3 Hyatt Offices across Australia and New Zealand.
**About the Role**
Based in the office within Grand Hyatt Melbourne, the primary objective of the role is to provide support to the Pacific Payroll Controller. This position provides fantastic opportunity for growth, development and projects. Importantly, you would be joining an amazing supportive team. The role will include all aspects of payroll - including end-to-end payroll, significant payroll systems administration and team management. Further, you will provide mentorship, guidance and support to Hotel Teams in developing strategies and short-term tactics to increase the hotel’s overall payroll management.
This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.

The successful applicant will have proven experience processing end to end payroll in a large organisation, as well as the following attributes
**Qualifications**:
**Essential Requirements**
- A demonstrated high technical aptitude - to understand payroll systems and manage back end processes
- Intermediate to advanced excel
- Problem solver that is able to independently come to solutions
- Experience interpreting EBA /awards and offering accurate information to the organisation
- Committed to servicing our hotels with a support and relationship focus
- Positive, pro-active attitude
- Ability to communicate with all stakeholders
- Proven team management
**Desirable Requirements**
- Prior experience with iChris/Chris21
- Prior experience with rostering system(s)
- Prior experience with HRIS administration
- Experience with HRIS administration
- New Zealand Experience highly regarded
- Hospitality experience
- Experience in some of vba, ssis, ssrs, sql, technical report writing
