Reporting into the payroll officer, you will work closely with the Payroll, HR and finance team to prepare the payroll for processing and other related tasks.

**The role**
- Assist with the processing of the fortnightly payroll of 300 employees using Preceda, including new employee set up in HRIS
- Provide, as required reporting to the college & statutory bodies
- Assist with advice and assistance with payroll related enquiries - deductions, entitlements, salary sacrificing etc to staff
- Provide assistance with budget and forecasting throughout the year
- Maintain super fund records and assist with the processing of super payments on a monthly basis
- Other relevant tasks as required associated to the role
**Your skills & experience**
- Demonstrable experience in payroll / HR / Finance administration
- Strong commercial acumen and numeracy skills
- Attention to detail and self motivation is essential
- Keen interest in understanding of legislation and regulations regarding to leave, super, FBT, workcover, ATO reporting, salary packaging etc
- Attention to detail, accuracy and strong numeracy skills
- Ability to ensure privacy, confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with staff and students
- Be values driven and passionate about people - your team, employees and students
